Personal data may be used for the marketing operations, advertising, information, invoicing, collection of payments, statistical purposes, and the management, administration and development of customer relations of Sowellus Oy and its partners.

Personal data may include the following customer information:

Company and title
Company industrial classification
Free-form message provided along with a contact request that the form filler has personally sent to Sowellus of their own accord.

7. Regular data sources

Personal data is collected via a contact request form sent from the website or by some other means directly from the data subject.

8. Regular disclosure of data

The data may be disclosed and transferred to the units of Sowellus Oy or its subcontractors according to the Personal Data Act and to authorities in statutory cases.

9. Data transfer outside the EU or EEA

The data is not transferred outside the EU or EEA.

10. Principles of data protection

Technical data protection has been utilised in the realisation of the website to ensure that the entered data remains unchanged and available only for the authorised people. Only the authorised Sowellus Oy employees have the credentials to access the system.

If a piece of personal data is in manual form, the data is kept in a locked space and only authorised people can access it.

The individuals processing the data are covered by the statutory obligation of professional secrecy and/or have signed the related pledge of secrecy.

11. Right of access

Under the section 26 of the Personal Data Act, the data subject has the right to access the personal data recorded of them. The request for access must be delivered in writing and signed to:

12. Right to correct

All individuals have the right to have their incorrectly recorded personal data rectified.

The request for correction must be delivered to the Controller in writing and signed by mail or email or in person.

13. Right to prohibit

The data subject has the right to prohibit the Controller from processing their personal data for the purposes of direct advertising, distance selling, and other direct marketing as well as market and opinion research.

The request for prohibition must be delivered to the Controller in writing and signed by mail or email or in person.

14. Data protection and security

Sowellus Oy and its service providers take care of the storage and protection of the data to the best of their abilities with generally used methods. Any data not in electronic format is stored in a secured space and only authorised people can access it. The data is destroyed immediately when no longer needed.
